It’s been widely reported that Florence Pugh will make a cameo appearance as Yelena Belova, so does that mean Peter Parker will eventually join the ranks of the New Avengers?

The Cosmic Circus‘ Alex Perez isn’t sure what the future holds in store for these two, but does claim, “I don’t even think the interaction in Brand New Day warrants them crossing over or teaming up in the future anytime soon.”

If accurate, that closes the door on anything happening that brings Spidey back into an Avengers team, and if anything, we’d bet on the wall-crawler rejecting any potential offer. After all, that would line up with the pre-New Avengers-era Spider-Man from the comics (who, as a street-level hero, frequently clashed with the team rather than fighting alongside them).

Perez was also asked what’s caused the MCU’s Incursions, prompting the insider to tease, “The answer is Kang. He’s the original sin, so to speak.”

It’s recently been rumoured that Steve Rogers’ actions in Avengers: Endgame led to the Incursion that destroyed Doctor Doom’s world in Avengers: Doomsday (it’s also been strongly hinted that Doom is lying about that). Now, yet another X user, @retiredfujoshi, who claims to have seen the movie’s leaked costume photos, has shared a few spoilery details.

They claim that Chris Evans’ Steve is pictured wearing “normal clothes,” with Mjolnir in hand. As for the MCU’s current Captain America, Sam Wilson, his suit now more closely resembles the stealth uniform that his predecessor wore in 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

As a reminder, these photos that appear to be circulating among a small group of fans are typically used for merchandise, posters, and other promotional material. We’re still unable to ascertain how they’ve surfaced, but with legitimate Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 images doing the rounds, we know they’re out there somewhere.

For what it’s worth, this latest leaker says that the shots of Doom show him “standing straight [with his] fists clenched,” wielding a sword and shield, playing chess, and sitting on a throne. There are also close-up shots of Robert Downey Jr.’s eyes through the mask.

Why haven’t these images leaked? Are they really out there? Is this some sort of new marketing tactic by Marvel Studios?
