That\u00a0means anything from coffee pots, to hardware tools, work jackets and good quality knitted jumpers. It\u2019s also on Time Out\u2019s list of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\/shopping\/the-50-best-shops-in-london]\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">best shops in London<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Labour and Wait\u2019s Covent Garden outpost opened its doors on November 15, coinciding with the original store\u2019s 25th anniversary.\u00a0At 3,000 square feet, the new shop on 12 Dryden Street is three times the size of Labour and Wait\u2019s east London flagship on Redchurch Street.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"31c3b254-088b-ae7f-a1fe-4fab2b9f655c\" class=\"photo lazy inline\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"lazy-embed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1763528365_731_image.webp.webp\" alt=\"Inside Labour and Wait covent Garden \" data-caption=\"\" data-credit=\"Photograph: Labour and Wait\" data-width-class=\"\" data-image-id=\"106344261\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\nPhotograph: Labour and Wait&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Fittingly, the new shop resides in a mid-19th century building that has previously served as a chapel, a warehouse and a seed merchant. Inside its as utilitarian as the goods it sells, with vaulted arches, exposed brick and ironwork.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To mark the occasion, Labour and Wait will hold a special celebration on Saturday, November 29 across all three of its shops in Shoreditch, Marylebone and Covent Garden. We like the idea of selling a real diversity of products\u2026 all different things mixed together,\u2019 said Rachel Wythe-Moran, co-founder of Labour and Wait.<\/p>\n<p>Co-founder Simon Watkins said: \u2018We are not here to chase trends.
