CSimon Seary has been formally reselected by members of the Pudsey, Swinnow and Tyersal Conservatives to stand as the Conservative Party candidate for the Pudsey ward in the May 2026 Leeds City Council elections. <\/p>\n

Cllr Seary was first elected in 2018 and has served the ward for almost eight years. He previously contested the delayed 2022 local elections, securing 4,145 votes, 55 percent of the vote, and a majority of 1,320. <\/p>\n

Cllr Seary said: \u201cI am delighted to have been officially selected by ward members to be the Conservative Party candidate for the Pudsey ward for 2026\u2019s Local Elections.<\/p>\n

\u201cI still can\u2019t believe it\u2019s nearly 11 years since I first stood and almost eight years since I was first elected in 2018. I love Pudsey, I love the people, and I genuinely love getting stuck in every day for Pudsey, Swinnow and Tyersal. <\/p>\n

\u201cThank you to everyone who has supported me over the years. It really does mean the world and I hope I can count on you again next year so I can keep cracking on with making Pudsey even better!\u201d<\/p>\n

All 33 council wards in Leeds will be contested at next May\u2019s Leeds City Council elections.<\/p>\n
