A Farsley beer company has finished brewing at its Sunny Bank Mills base ahead of moving its brewing operations to Saltaire.<\/p>\n

Amity Brew Co was set up in Farsley in 2020, with beer brewed and served to customers on-site. But, as previously reported, the brewery aspect will now move to Albion Mills in the Greengates area.<\/p>\n

In a statement on social media, Amity confirmed that yesterday (Tuesday, 18 November) was its final day brewing in Farsley.<\/p>\n

Its statement on social media read: \u201cToday marks a huge moment for us, it\u2019s the last ever brew on our original kit here in Farsley.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd what better way to send the old kit off than with a special collaboration brew?<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re brewing alongside two absolute Yorkshire legends: The Highland Laddie in Leeds and Blind Jacks in Knaresborough \u2013 both fresh from winning major national pub awards, including from the Good Food Guide and the Great British Pub Awards.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf there was ever a squad to mark the occasion, it\u2019s them. Nearly five years of graft, this little brewery kit has carried us through launch and lockdowns to fuelling our busy taproom. It\u2019s been brilliant, but it\u2019s definitely had its limitations.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs we move full production over to @amitybrewco 2.0 in Greengates, we\u2019re stepping into a new era of brewing more beer, more regularly, in bigger volume.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlus we have the added bonus of giving our taproom here at Sunny Bank Mills the freedom to properly flex with a kitchen and increased opening hours.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere\u2019s to the past five years, the kit that started it all, and the bigger, better brews to come.\u201d<\/p>\n
