Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a> is recalling what first attracted her to her husband, Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Harry is] someone who just has this childlike wonder and playfulness,\u201d Meghan, 44, told Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/a> in an interview published on Wednesday, November 19. \u201cI was so drawn to that, and he brought that out in me. That\u2019s translated into every part of our life. Even in business, I want us to play and have fun and explore and be creative.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meghan shared that she appreciates how Harry, 41, loves her \u201cso boldly\u201d and \u201cfully,\u201d noting that \u201cno one in the world loves me more than him, so I know he\u2019s always going to make sure that he has my back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meghan and Harry, 41, met in 2016, going on to tie the knot in a lavish royal wedding<\/a> two years later. They have since welcomed son Prince Archie<\/strong>, 6, and daughter Princess Lilibet<\/strong>, 4. In January 2020, the couple announced via their Instagram page that they were stepping back as \u201csenior\u201d members of the royal family to \u201cwork and become financially dependent.\u201d<\/p>\n

The pair later relocated to Canada and then to Montecito, California, where they now reside, a decision that cost the pair their tax-payer funded U.K. security detail. While both Harry and Meghan have returned to the U.K. on various occasions since 2020, their children haven\u2019t traveled overseas since 2022 in order to ensure their safety. (Harry lost his April 2025 appeal to regain security for his family<\/a> while visiting overseas.)<\/p>\n

While speaking to Harper\u2019s Bazaar on Wednesday, Meghan opened up about how her life has changed since stepping into the public eye, noting that she\u2019s found \u201cdifferent ways\u201d to \u201cprotect\u201d herself, \u201cwhether that\u2019s self-preservation or it\u2019s just growing up.\u201d<\/p>\n

One way she\u2019s found protection is through working from home \u2014 something she calls a \u201cluxury,\u201d as it allows her to spend more time with her children.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy office is right by the kitchen, and I love that I can work from home,\u201d she told the outlet, noting that Lilibet, \u201ccomes and sits on my lap when I\u2019m in the middle of the meeting, whether it\u2019s about P and L for my brand or it\u2019s about something creative.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked what she hopes her children learn from watching her work, Meghan said she hopes they will understand the \u201cvalue of being brave.\u201d<\/p>\n
