{"id":581822,"date":"2025-11-20T04:37:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T04:37:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/581822\/"},"modified":"2025-11-20T04:37:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T04:37:11","slug":"look-amazon-driver-finds-fox-trapped-in-engine-of-delivery-van","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/581822\/","title":{"rendered":"Look: Amazon driver finds fox trapped in engine of delivery van"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nov. 19 (UPI) &#8212; An animal rescuer in Britain was dispatched to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.upi.com\/topic\/Amazoncom\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Amazon\" class=\"tpstyle\" rel=\"noopener\">Amazon<\/a> depot to remove a fox found trapped in the engine department of a delivery van.<\/p>\n<p>The RSPCA said Inspector Herchy Boal was dispatched to the Amazon depot in Derby after a driver for the company spotted a warning light on his dashboard and checked the engine to find a fox hiding among the mechanical components.\n<\/p>\n<p>Boal was able to manipulate the fox into a safer position and extract her from the engine.<\/p>\n<p>The engine warning light turned out to have been triggered by the fox chewing on some wires.\n<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/ph1.jpg\" style=\"width:100%; aspect-ratio: attr(width) \/ attr(height); height: auto;\" width=\"600\" height=\"430\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The fox will eventually be returned to the wild.
