The Whites are desperate to add goals to their team in the New Year in a bid to boost their hopes of preserving their Premier League status.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Farke&#8217;s side currently sit 16th in the table and just one point above the relegation zone. With just 10 goals scored in 11 games so far, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.givemesport.com\/tag\/leeds-united\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leeds<\/a> have scored the second-fewest goals in the division this term. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teamtalk.com\/leeds-united\/ready-submit-imminent-bid-real-madrid-forward-farke-convinces-board\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">TeamTalk<\/a>, the Whites are set to test <a href=\"https:\/\/www.givemesport.com\/db\/sports-team\/real-madrid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Real Madrid<\/a> with a \u00a317million bid for the striker&#8217;s services. Los Blancos are reportedly willing to allow him to leave the club on a permanent basis or on loan with an obligation to make the deal permanent for \u00a317.6million.<\/p>\n<p>Leeds&#8217; bid is reportedly imminent, with a deal likely to be worth \u00a320million with add-ons and a sell-on clause. It&#8217;s also claimed that Real Madrid would demand a buyback clause in the deal to give them control over the youngster&#8217;s future, giving them the option to bring him back to the Santiago Bernabeu in the future.#<\/p>\n<p>Farke has suggested to the 49ers that the signing of Garcia \u2014 a player <a href=\"https:\/\/tribuna.com\/en\/news\/2025-07-15-hes-different-legendary-spanish-striker-morientes-backs-gonzalo-garcia-to-explode-under-x\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">described as <\/a>&#8216;perfect&#8217;\u2014could be the difference between relegation and survival.<\/p>\n<p>Aston Villa and Wolves are also interested in a permanent deal, while Brighton are interested in a straight loan deal for the striker. Sunderland are also keen.<\/p>\n<p>A product of Real Madrid&#8217;s Castilla academy, Garcia has scored five goals in 21 appearances for the Spanish giants \u2014 four of which came on the club&#8217;s FIFA Club World Cup campaign.<\/p>\n<p>This term has been a challenge for the 21-year-old, who has played just 108 minutes of first-team football. Facing competition from Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe, opportunities have been limited under Xabi Alonso.
