Sky Max has confirmed when Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan’s fan-favourite show Rob & Romesh Vs is coming back for its 8th season, and viewers don’t have long to wait. It’s also been announced who will be guest-starring in the season.<\/p>\n

The former Taskmaster stars and best friends are going to try their hands at a new host of careers, with various famous professional coming along for the ride to try and help them out\/laugh at their attempts.<\/p>\n

The show will be back in less than three weeks time, kicking off season 8 on Tuesday, 9 December at 9pm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first episode will see the duo try and take on Bollywood, with Ali Fazal and Anupam Kher coaching them on as they try and land roles in one of the world’s biggest film industries.<\/p>\n

Rob and Romesh will then jet off to New York City and meet one of Romesh’s heroes: Raekwon from the Wu-Tang Clan. Can he help Romesh conquer his fear of performing a freestyle live on stage at an NYC cypher?<\/p>\n

The third episode takes place in the Sumatran jungle, as the pair try and take a photograph worthy of competing in the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year contest.<\/p>\n

Episode four comes back home as Rob and Romesh try to take on Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet the Globe theatre. They’ll be helped out by Artistic Director, Michelle Terry, as well as actors Martin Freeman and Jessie Buckley.<\/p>\n

Finally, the season will conclude with a two-part special where Rob and Romesh take on Team GB (again) in the Winter Olympics. Eddie the Eagle (pictured below), Eve Muirhead, Mia Brookes and Team Mouat will all be on hand helping out as the duo compete in multiple events in multiple countries.<\/p>\n

While it may not be a darling for the critics (The Guardian<\/a> called it “fine” with “obvious jokes”), Rob & Romesh Vs is a big hit with fans.<\/p>\n

Viewers on IMDb called it “one of the funniest shows”, “bloody hilarious” and full of “a surprising amount of laugh out loud moments”.<\/p>\n
