{"id":582442,"date":"2025-11-20T11:48:26","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T11:48:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/582442\/"},"modified":"2025-11-20T11:48:26","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T11:48:26","slug":"how-much-antoine-semenyo-would-cost-liverpool-if-they-were-to-wait-until-the-summer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/582442\/","title":{"rendered":"How much Antoine Semenyo would cost Liverpool if they were to wait until the summer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Antoine Semenyo is certainly the talk of the town right now, with a move seeming inevitable.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>The Reds went big in the transfer market over the summer, but as of yet, it has not quite paid off.<\/p>\n<p>They still left a few gaps that needed filling, though, with a winger being one of them, which is why they are so heavily linked to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/tag\/antoine-semenyo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Semenyo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"40\" height=\"40\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/mail.png\" alt=\"mail icon\"\/>Join our newsletter for news &amp; smart analysis. <\/p>\n<p>The Bournemouth star has been on fire this season, with there being strong rumours that he could depart as early as January, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool<\/a> one of the teams most keen.<\/p>\n<p>However, there is a chance they wait until the summer to make a move, with his price tag a little bit less if they do.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"659\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/GettyImages-2241700415-1024x659.jpg\" alt=\"Antoine Semenyo of AFC Bournemouth celebrates scoring during the Premier League match between Leeds United and Bournemouth at Elland Road\" class=\"wp-image-271768\" \/>Photo by Visionhaus\/Getty ImagesAntoine Semenyo would cost less in the summer<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/2025\/11\/18\/how-bournemouth-feel-about-losing-antoine-semenyo-amid-links-to-liverpool-in-january\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Semenyo has a release clause in his contract<\/a> for the winter that means clubs would have to pay \u00a365m to prise him away.<\/p>\n<p>Although this is still a fair amount, it is also quite cheap in today\u2019s market for a player of his quality, suggesting it is a bit of a no-brainer.<\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/tag\/fabrizio-romano\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fabrizio Romano<\/a> has confirmed that if Liverpool wait until the summer to get him, he would cost a fair bit less, with there being a chance they decide to wait it out for this reason.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe value is different, for January it is \u00a360m plus \u00a35m in add-ons. For the summer transfer window it is slightly above \u00a350m,\u201d Romano said on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_YNAxteugIE&amp;t=242s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBournemouth would like to keep the player. I\u2019m thinking \u2018oh my god.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Antoine Semenyo on the best stadium he ever played at.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"659\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/GettyImages-2241700415-1024x659.jpg\" alt=\"Antoine Semenyo of AFC Bournemouth celebrates scoring during the Premier League match between Leeds United and Bournemouth at Elland Road\" class=\"wp-image-271768\" \/>Photo by Visionhaus\/Getty Images     <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut if a club arrives and triggers the clause or a club arrives and tries to negotiate, it can be different in that case Bournemouth will have to let the player go in the January transfer window.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Liverpool will face competition for Antoine Semenyo<\/p>\n<p>The big risk with Liverpool waiting is that they will not be the only club considering a move, so there is a good chance they miss out on him altogether.<\/p>\n<p>Granted, he would be cheaper, but as seen with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rousingthekop.com\/tag\/marc-guehi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marc Guehi<\/a> saga, trying to save a little bit of money can backfire, and for the sake of around \u00a315m, it might not be worth the risk.<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal are one of the teams also interested, and with Semenyo a boyhood Arsenal fan, this might be a little worrying.<\/p>\n<p>Whether they make the move in January is not yet known, but if they really want the 25-year-old, then they might have to go early.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Antoine Semenyo is certainly the talk of the town right now, with a move seeming inevitable.
