{"id":582443,"date":"2025-11-20T11:49:22","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T11:49:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/582443\/"},"modified":"2025-11-20T11:49:22","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T11:49:22","slug":"uks-aspiring-number-one-ooh-firm-goes-bust-following-seven-figure-investment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/582443\/","title":{"rendered":"UK&#8217;s aspiring &#8220;number one&#8221; OOH firm goes bust following &#8220;seven-figure&#8221; investment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>75Media, the home of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prolificnorth.co.uk\/news\/giant-screen-for-salford-as-council-extends-dooh-partnership\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">giant screens in Salford<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prolificnorth.co.uk\/news\/75media-expands-scottish-team-following-iq-ooh-takeover\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scottish expansion<\/a>, as well as a 2025 \u201cseven-figure investment\u201d from Mercia Partners through the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, has entered liquidation.<\/p>\n<p>Hyping the news of the seven-figure Mercia deal in March, 75Media described itself as the \u201cfastest-growing roadside media operator\u201d in the UK. That would appear to have slowed, while last year it proudly proclaimed its ambition to be the UK\u2019s \u201cnumber one network for brands\u201d after acquiring London\u2019s iQ OOH.<\/p>\n<p>Announcing the news on LinkedIn, 75Media\u2019s board of directors said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday (Wednesday 19 November 2025), the board of directors at 75Media Limited has made the very difficult decision to place the company into voluntary liquidation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the last six months, the board has explored every viable option to secure the long-term future of the business but sadly, despite extensive negotiations with our infrastructure landlord, it has not been possible to agree a way forward.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince its launch in May 2020, 75Media has always forged its own path, working innovatively to bring the brand-building power of roadside advertising to businesses of all sizes across the UK. From its first-of-a-kind billboard optioning and booking system, BOB, to its Ignite membership scheme for start-ups, 75Media has always strived to democratise out-of-home advertising and bring it closer to real businesses and causes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNone of this would have been possible without the following, who we express our deepest thanks to:<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Our incredible team whose talent, dedication and belief in 75Media has driven everything we have accomplished<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Our wonderful clients for their trust, creativity and collaboration<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Our brilliant suppliers and consultants who have supported our ambitions with expertise and commitment<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 The many partners and stakeholders we have worked so closely with to build something truly special<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are profoundly grateful to everyone who has been part of 75Media.
