It has become clear what the future likely holds for Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa going into the 2026 January transfer window.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Italian has endured a difficult 2025\/26 at Anfield so far, hardly featuring under Arne Slot.<\/p>\n

Despite a lack of game time, it was previously suggested that Chiesa wanted to fight for his place<\/a>\u00a0in this Liverpool<\/a> team.<\/p>\n

However, recent news, which has picked up in the last 48 hours, suggests that the winger\u2019s future may be out of his hands.<\/p>\n

It has been suggested that Liverpool are \u2018confident\u2019 about signing Antoine Semenyo<\/a> from Bournemouth in 2026.<\/p>\n

Another update claimed that Slot\u2019s men are frontrunners for Semenyo ahead of Manchester United<\/a>, with his \u00a365m release clause set to become active in January.<\/p>\n
