Former Pakistan cricketer Danish Kaneria has slammed Shahid Afridi after the latter\u2019s comments on the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir\u2019s Pahalgam last week. A clip of Afridi making bizarre claims on the attack that left 26 civilians dead have been doing the rounds on social media.<\/p>\n
Afridi raised questions over the attack while making unfounded claims.<\/p>\n
Criticising Afridi<\/a> for his extremist views, Kaneria<\/a> claimed the former Pakistan captain tried to persuade him to convert to Islam besides declining to share a meal.<\/p>\n \u201cHe has consistently aligned himself with extremist views. In my opinion, he should not be given a platform on Indian television or within the country. Tum logo ki 8 lakh ki fauj hai Kashmir mein aur ye ho gaya. This means you are useless for not being able to provide security to people),” Afridi said on Samaa TV.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, in the aftermath of the attack, the Indian government has banned a host of Pakistan YouTube channels for \u201cdisseminating provocative and communally sensitive content, false and misleading narratives and misinformation against India, its Army and security agencies”.
