Tech is coming for your favourite pub games. First\u00a0there\u00a0was\u00a0augmented-reality\u00a0darts, now we\u2019re getting AI-powered pool tables. That\u2019s right \u2013 next year, a high-tech poolhall will open in London.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Poolhouse is the newest venture from the creators of Topgolf and Puttshack<\/a>. Located at 100 Liverpool Street, there\u2019ll be dozens of digital pool tables spread across two floors, which have been designed to pay homage to Las Vegas casinos. The AI tech will allow players to \u2018adapt\u2019 their games to suit their skill level so that\u00a0everyone gets their\u00a0\u2018fair shot at glory\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n At first, each table will have five different game modes, including \u2018Killer\u2019 and \u2018Pot Shots\u2019, but Poolhouse said that \u2018new releases constantly in development, there\u2019s always something fresh to keep the rivalry alive\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n There\u2019ll also be\u00a0a 20-metre statement bar\u00a0selling drinks created in collaboration with cocktail connoisseurs Three Sheets<\/a>\u00a0and (bold claim) \u2018one of London\u2019s best pints of Guinness\u2019 thanks to customised coolers, lines, taps and a specialised gas mix. For food,\u00a0players can expect a menu of \u2018New American\u2019 dishes made to share.\u00a0<\/p>\n Co-founder Andrew O\u2019Brien said: \u2018We\u2019ve taken the timeless game of pool and reimagined it as an immersive, interactive experience that\u2019s designed for everyone from first-timers to seasoned players.<\/p>\n \u2018By blending state-of-the-art technology with vibrant social spaces, curated food and drink, and a dynamic atmosphere, Poolhouse offers a new kind of night out where fun, food, and friendly competition come together like never before.\u2019<\/p>\n Poolhall will open in early 2026.
