Watching his team completely dismantle Slovakia in their most recent game, and having secured qualification, means that there isn’t much he needs to worry about right now, other than look ahead to plan for the World Cup. And now, it looks like that confidence might get a little boost.

The former Bayern Munich boss was able to provide fans with some encouraging updates regarding the injuries that plagued more than a few German stars. Kai Havertz, Jamal Musiala, Antonio Rüdiger, and Marc-André ter Stegen have been on the sidelines for quite some time now, but per some statements from Nagelsmann (captured by Bulinews), it looks like fans may seem them on the pitch in time for crucial games next year.

Arsenal’s Havertz has been out of commission since late August of this year, with Bayern star Musiala starting his recovery since even earlier, but their comeback looks to be on the horizon. “Kai had a minor relapse, but overall he’s doing well,” Nagelsmann revealed. “Jamal no longer has any major problems. But like Kai, he first needs to get back into rhythm with his club.”

The coach expects both to return to club action “towards the end of the year,” giving them a few crucial months to regain full match fitness and become international squad worthy again before March, just in time for when Germany will ramp up final preparations for the international tournament. Meanwhile, Rüdiger (Real Madrid) and ter Stegen (Barcelona) are also on track, though Nagelsmann was careful not to make any promises. “There are so many factors we can’t control,” he admitted. “I can’t just say that Kai and Jamal will play main roles for us and then have them not be available.”

Die Mannschaft has found their form as a team, building up to a dynamic squad under Julian Nagelsmann, but the potential return of these key figures could make all the difference in becoming a title winning one. If all goes to plan, fans might just see Germany enter the World Cup with one of the most balanced and exciting squads in years.

With Germany’s preparations for the 2026 World Cup starting to take shape, it seems justified for head coach…

[5310
31808,2000,299,129072,1824
0":"post-583621","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-germany","8":"tag-bayern-munich-injuries","9":"tag-eu","10":"tag-europe","11":"tag-german-national-team-and-international-soccer","12":"tag-germany
["GET
