Hollyoaks has revealed that there is turmoil ahead for Ste Hay, as he faces major consequences for his shocking confession about his son Lucas. This week, Dillon Ray was horrified when he caught his ex Lucas abusing his dad<\/a>, as he has been doing for months.<\/p>\n

Dillon urged Ste to seek help<\/a>, and during an emotional chat the pair gave in to their feelings for one another and controversially slept together.<\/p>\n

But meanwhile, Lucas lied to Leela and told her that Ste was abusing him, not the other way around. Leela called the police on his half-brother and Ste was stunned to be arrested for assault<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ste was interviewed at the station but he didn\u2019t want to get his son into trouble, so he lied to the police and confessed to hitting Lucas \u2013 despite being completely innocent.<\/p>\n

Dillon was alarmed that Ste had covered for Lucas, but things then got worse when social services arrived to remove baby James from Ste\u2019s custody, seeing as he admitted to a violent offence.<\/p>\n

Ste and Dillon were both devastated but reluctantly abided by the Emergency Protection Order by the court \u2013 even if it meant that James could be put into temporary foster care.<\/p>\n

However, in new spoilers previewing next week\u2019s scenes, Hollyoaks has confirmed that baby James will be staying in the village and living with the Maaliks \u2013 including his biological dad Dillon.<\/p>\n

Next week, James settles into his new surroundings, but emotions are high for everyone involved and Ste struggles to cope with this major change. <\/p>\n

Ste decides to confide in Misbah, and he breaks down in tears, explaining how he already misses baby James and how he feels like he has failed his grandson.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Dillon feels strongly for Ste<\/a>, despite him being his ex-boyfriend\u2019s dad, and the pair are still coming to terms with their changing nature of their relationship.<\/p>\n

Dillon is now the only person who knows the truth about Lucas\u2019 abuse so he is concerned about Ste\u2019s welfare \u2013 and finds him in a dark place when he checks on him.<\/p>\n

But how will Ste respond to Dillon reaching out, and what will this mean for their own confusing dynamic?<\/p>\n

Hollyoaks<\/strong> airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming<\/a> premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.<\/strong><\/p>\n
