Mohamed Salah made a prediction for one of his Liverpool teammates that, over two months later, has been proven to be very wrong.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Salah has come under fire<\/a> during the first half of the 2025\/26 season amid what has been a clear drop in performances.<\/p>\n

The Egyptian is not the only Liverpool<\/a> player who has endured a difficult campaign so far, though.<\/p>\n

Florian Wirtz has become a scapegoat<\/a> for the Reds\u2019 recent woes, while one on-loan star is suffering after Salah tipped him for success this term.<\/p>\n

Harvey Elliott joined Aston Villa<\/a> on a season-long loan deal from the Premier League champions on transfer deadline day.<\/p>\n

Shortly after his exit, Salah made a bold prediction for Elliott<\/a>, whom he has spent the last several years playing alongside.<\/p>\n

Writing on his official X\/Twitter account, he wrote: \u201cYou\u2019ll be remembered for your loyalty and dedication every time you were called upon.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou leave as a champion, and I\u2019ve got no doubt you\u2019ll do big things at your new club. They are lucky to have you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nearly three months on from his exit, though, it\u2019s fair to say Elliott<\/a> has failed to live up to Salah\u2019s<\/a> prediction.<\/p>\n

In the Premier League, the 22-year-old has been afforded just 97 minutes of action across four games under Unai Emery.<\/p>\n

Elliott has not fared much better in cup competitions either, only featuring in three matches so far for a combined total of 77 minutes.<\/p>\n

Villa could make his transfer permanent in the near future, but the latest information from Rousing The Kop\u2019s<\/strong> transfer insider, Graeme Bailey, suggests that now looks unlikely.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s our understanding that Liverpool, Villa and Elliott\u00a0are all unhappy<\/a> with how his loan spell has played out so far.<\/p>\n
