The Duchess of Sussex gave an <a data-link-tracking=\"InArticle|Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.express.co.uk\/news\/royal\/2136278\/meghan-markle-mistakes-magazine-cover\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interview to US magazine Harper\u2019s Bazaar,<\/a> also featuring on the cover of its December 2025\/January 2026 art issue.<\/p>\n<p>The magazine\u2019s Kaitlyn Greenidge writes about how she met up with the Duchess to conduct the interview, saying: \u201cWe\u2019re in a grand brownstone on the Upper East Side that belongs to one of Meghan\u2019s friends. When I enter, the house manager announces, \u2018Meghan, Duchess of Sussex,\u2019 even though we appear to be the only other two people in the house.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The part of the cover story already sparked backlash from fans online and now royal experts, including Kinsey Schofield, have criticised the Duchess.<\/p>\n<p>She said on her Youtube programme, Kinsey Schofield Unfiltered: \u201cWhat an idiot you look like woman. This entire article, she\u2019s kissing Meghan\u2019s b***. But if I were in Meghan\u2019s team, I\u2019d hate if that was left it. I\u2019d have asked if that could be removed. I felt they had that kind of power, but that is one of the worst representations throughout the article.\u201d The Duke and Duchess of Sussex still retain their royal titles, despite leaving the Firm in 2020, but no longer use them commercially, following a mutual agreement with the royals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THIS IS A LIVE BLOG.
