Edinburgh-based Multrees Investor Services has announced two senior leadership appointments, with Martyn Johnson becoming chief operating officer and Carole Lamond appointed chief culture and communications officer.<\/p>\n
Multrees provides bespoke custody, investment administration, and platform services for wealth managers, private banks and family offices, with revenue of \u00a324.9 million in the most recent financial year.<\/p>\n
In his new role as COO, Mr Johnson will oversee Multrees\u2019 operations, technology, and transformation functions.<\/p>\n
His expanded remit will strengthen the alignment of Multrees\u2019 operational and technological capabilities, accelerating the evolution of its service delivery and platform capabilities.<\/p>\n
Mr Johnson joined Multrees in 2022, before which he worked within JP Morgan\u2019s global fund services division as a senior strategist.<\/p>\n
In his former role as Multrees\u2019 chief transformation officer, he played a central role advancing the firm\u2019s technology investment programmes and enhancing client delivery.<\/p>\n
Ms Lamond, as chief culture and communications officer, brings together the firm\u2019s people, culture, marketing, and communications functions under a unified leadership remit.<\/p>\n
She has served as Multrees\u2019 chief people officer for the past five years and has been central to shaping the firm\u2019s values and organisational culture.<\/p>\n
She brings more than two decades of experience, including senior positions at Morgan Stanley, Tesco Bank, and Aegon, and will continue to champion a collaborative, values-driven environment.<\/p>\n
