\n The British band will take to the stage at Leeds’ First Direct Bank Arena on November 20 as part of their ‘Tried, Tested and Trixies Tour’.\n<\/p>\n
\n This comes after the announcement of their new studio album ‘Trixies’.\n<\/p>\n
\n The tour is set to be the most ambitious of their 50+ year career.\n<\/p>\n
\n The 16-date tour will see the band headline several arenas for the first time.\n<\/p>\n
\n Joining Squeeze on the tour will be singer, songwriter, and activist Billy Bragg.\n<\/p>\n
\n Tickets go on sale next Friday (November 28) at 9:30am.\n<\/p>\n
\n Glenn Tilbrook, Squeeze’s co-founder, said: “The reaction to the 50th anniversary tour in 2024 was amazing.\n<\/p>\n
\n “We have never sounded better and it feels really special to be looking forward to playing the biggest headline shows of our career.\n<\/p>\n
\n “And having Billy Bragg on the same bill, what\u2019s not to love!”\n<\/p>\n
\n Chris Difford, another co-founder, said: “It\u2019s going to be amazing to show off songs from our album Trixies and, of course, all the hits and some surprises.\n<\/p>\n
\n “I\u2019m also excited that Billy Bragg will be joining us for all the shows.”\n<\/p>\n
\n Fans are invited to bring food donations to the shows to support the charity Trussell, which provides emergency food and support to people who cannot afford the essentials.\n<\/p>\n
\n Collection points for food donations will be set up across the venue each night.\n<\/p>\n
\n Additionally, \u00a31 from the sale of every ticket will go to support grassroots music venues, artists, and promoters.\n<\/p>\n
\n ‘Trixies’, the band’s new album, is set to be released next March.\n<\/p>\n
\n The album consists of stories set in a fictional nightclub, written by Difford and Tilbrook at the very start of their song writing partnership.\n<\/p>\n
