\n\tA second former Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> star has been arrested for rape<\/a> in the space of just two months. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe news, first revealed by The Sun, comes with the hit BBC<\/a> entertianment show continuing to remain in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe arrest is understood to relate to last year\u2019s show and not the current series. The individual has not been named and the news comes just two months after a different star was arrested on suspicion of rape and \u201cnon-consensual intimate image abuse,\u201d which also did not relate to this current series. The Sun reported that the man was arrested last month and the woman who claims she was assaulted was not a contestant or pro dancer on the show. <\/p>\n

\n\tPolice in Hertfordshire, South England, where Strictly is filmed, last night confirmed the arrest and said that inquiries are continuing.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt would not be appropriate to comment on an ongoing police investigation,\u201d said a BBC spokeswoman. <\/p>\n

\n\tStrictly was hit by a string of scandals last year and this has continued into 2025. Two dancers last year exited the show after one was accused of bullying and misconduct, and the other of kicking a dance partner. This year, there have been allegations of cocaine abuse on set, which the BBC has hired a law firm to probe.<\/p>\n
