If you recently\u00a0wolfed down a 3am kebab\u00a0in the backseat, forgot your P\u2019s and Q\u2019s or blasted your music at full volume, you may find that your score has dropped.\u00a0Even worse&#8230; you may be bringing your hometown\u2019s average down.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Uber has just unveiled which city\u2019s passengers\u00a0have the highest and lowest ratings from its drivers \u2013 in its words, the cities that have been the \u2018nicest and naughtiest\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/belfast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Belfast<\/a>, give yourselves a pat on the back \u2013 you\u00a0are the UK\u2019s best behaved Uber passengers.\u00a0With their\u00a0Northern Irish charm, riders in the city have an impressive average rating of 4.91 (well above the national average of 4.84). It checks out \u2013 Belfast was voted the 10th\u00a0friendliest city in the world in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/uk\/news\/three-of-time-outs-friendliest-cities-in-the-world-for-2025-are-in-the-uk-102825\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Time Out\u2019s recent survey<\/a>, with 61 percent of locals describing it ass \u2018welcoming and friendly\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Following in second place was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/cambridge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cambridge<\/a>, where Uber users have an average rating of 4.89. Rounding out the top five was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/oxford\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oxford<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/liverpool\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/cardiff\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cardiff<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now, over to the cities that have been named and shamed. Uber drivers have been the least impressed by passengers in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/bristol\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bristol<\/a>. They\u2019ve got an average rating of 4.7 (not that bad, but plenty of room for improvement).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/london\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Londoners<\/a> had the next\u00a0worst Uber etiquette with an\u00a0rating from drivers of 4.75. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/birmingham\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Birmingham\u2019s<\/a> passengers were in third place, followed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/leicester\/things-to-do\/best-things-to-do-in-leicester\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leicester<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/manchester\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Manchester<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Uber says that the kind of things that lower passengers\u2019 ratings are being rude or disrespectful, being late, eating in the car, \u2018treating the Uber as an after-party\u2019 and trying to connect to the speakers, and changing your destination mid-trip.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Maintaining a high rating shouldn\u2019t be hard.
