Playing tracks by the likes of Reverend Gary Davis<\/strong>, Elizabeth Cotten <\/strong>and John Fahey<\/strong>, the young performer commanded the room as she lilted away with a glowing shyness and first-class precision. You could hear a pin drop (unless Scotland scored\u2026 in that case you could hear that from the pub next door\u2026teehee). Her voice was incredible- moving through the tracks with clean, buttery vocals, whether she was lulling us or giving us a striking ballad.<\/p>\n We sat downstairs nice and cosy, as she shone on stage with nothing but her guitars. I truly was taken aback by the simplistic beauty of this gig, just a ridiculously talented young lass and her passions. She was in her own wee world, and I celebrate it highly! The sounds coming from her guitars were a credit to the sound engineer, deep and textured, helping amplify her masterful fingerpicking style in these expressive tunes.<\/p>\n Muireann Bradley<\/strong> is an exceptional talent and role model for all young musicians, recording her first album at only 15. Both her determination and her commitment to her niche are very commendable; her originality glimmers! She closed her set with Bob Dylan<\/strong>\u2019s \u2018Don\u2019t Think Twice, It\u2019s Alright\u2019,<\/strong> which was met with an almost immediate standing ovation.
