Actress Leanne Best is part of the iconic list of stars to be named in the Liverpool Legends Hall of Fame. The Liverpool Beatles Museum on Mathew Street welcomed a whole host of celebrities on Thursday evening as part of the opening of the “Liverpool Legends Hall of Fame”.<\/p>\n
The new exhibition <\/a>celebrates the best of some of our own famous faces and everything they have achieved over the years. From starting off their careers in a small Merseyside town <\/a>to going on to achieve great things, the exhibition showcases everyone from the worlds of film<\/a>, theatre, television, radio, entertainment <\/a>and sport.<\/p>\n Leanne Best is among the group of “legends” who were invited to take part by providing unique items for the exhibition as a symbol for their dazzling careers.<\/a><\/p>\n The actress is a familiar face on our TV screens and has an impressive list of credits behind her. She starred in ITV<\/a> comedy series Cold Feet, as well as Line of Duty, G’Wed, This City Is Ours and The Bay.<\/p>\n Leanne’s dad, Roag Best owns the Liverpool Beatles Museum on Mathew Street and was proud to have his daughter part of the star-studded list of “legends”.<\/p>\n The ECHO was in attendance <\/a>on Thursday when the “legends” made their way onto the red carpet on Mathew Street. They enjoyed a welcome drink on arrival before the impressive exhibition was revealed to guests.<\/a><\/p>\n Speaking to the ECHO about the celebratory evening, Leanne said: “I think Liverpool is such a unique place, my dad always says ‘there’s something in the water’.<\/p>\n “I think it’s full of the most amazing talent and creativity. I think my dad doing this particular exhibition is his love letter to Liverpool and I’m really really honoured to be a part of it.”<\/p>\n Our city is filled with stars <\/a>from every area of showbiz and Leanne spoke about Scouse talent around the globe.<\/a><\/p>\n She told the ECHO: “I think what’s really wonderful is that Liverpool has got a huge personality and what I’m really enjoying is the focus coming round on Liverpool at the minute in so many different areas like music and drama.<\/p>\n “We’ve got talent that goes all over the world and I think what’s wonderful is there’s so many different people out there now.
