The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) proudly announces that\u00a0Dr. Tamara P. Glover<\/strong>, Associate Professor of Social Work,<\/a> has been crowned\u00a0Mrs. USA International Global 2025\u20132026<\/strong>, marking a historic achievement for the institution. Dr. Glover is the first UAPB alumna and current faculty member to earn a national pageant title, marking a landmark accomplishment that brings meaningful recognition to the university.<\/p>\n

Representing Arkansas at the USA World Pageant in New Orleans, Dr. Glover earned the national crown and received the distinguished\u00a0Queen of Queens<\/strong> honor for achieving the highest overall score across all divisions. She will now serve as\u00a0the national face of the USA World Pageant Organization<\/strong> throughout her reign.<\/p>\n

A proud Pine Bluff native, Dr. Glover earned her\u00a0Bachelor of Arts degree from UAPB<\/strong>, her\u00a0Master of Social Work from Arkansas State University<\/strong>, and her\u00a0Ph.D. in Social Work from Jackson State University<\/strong>. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, national speaker, and Co-owner of Fulfilled Life Counseling. Her platform,\u00a0YES MA\u2019AM: Empowering Mothers, Elevating Mental Health<\/strong>, reflects her commitment to supporting families and advancing maternal mental health awareness nationwide.<\/p>\n

Dr. Glover expressed gratitude for the support she has received during this journey:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am deeply appreciative of my family, friends, and the UAPB community for their love and encouragement. I am especially grateful to my supervisor, Ms. Felicia Cooper, for her unwavering support throughout this experience.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Glover\u2019s achievement highlights the excellence of UAPB alumni and showcases the impact of its faculty on national platforms. Her work continues to strengthen the university\u2019s presence in academic, professional, and community spaces. <\/p>\n

Dr. Glover\u2019s journey is a testament to the transformative power of UAPB. As a student, she performed as a Golden Girl in UAPB\u2019s Marching Musical Machine of the Mid-South (M4). Her dedication and talent in her undergraduate studies led her to be crowned the 79th Miss University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.<\/p>\n

In September 2026, Dr. Glover will represent the United States at the\u00a0International Global Pageant in Malaysia<\/strong>, extending her service and visibility to an international audience.<\/p>\n
