The decision to swap a Championship side that seemed destined for promotion for a struggling Premier League team that looked almost certainly like they were going down did not go over well with some people in the football world.<\/p>\n

Simon Jordan was the most perturbed, with the former Palace owner going on two separate Rob Edwards rants<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Now, Shearer (via Metro<\/a>) has joined in and also delivered a brutal claim about Edwards while delivering his prediction for the weekend.<\/p>\n
