This is the adorable moment a fox and an otter were captured on CCTV <\/a>playing together in a deserted city.<\/p>\n Camera operators in Lincoln were stunned when they spotted the pair frolicking around the city\u2019s Brayford river front. Footage<\/a> shows them sniffing and chasing each other in scenes straight out of a Disney movie or John Lewis Christmas<\/a> advert.<\/p>\n The pair were filmed at around 4am on Tuesday and the video of their antics has attracted thousands of views online. Writing on the City of Lincoln Council <\/a>Facebook<\/a> page, they said: “CCTV staff work 24\/7, 365 days a year to keep Lincoln and all its inhabitants safe.<\/p>\n \u201cThey see families enjoying the city, friends making memories, and every now and then, an unlikely friendship blossoming. This week, they caught one worth sharing. It\u2019s not quite the new John Lewis Christmas ad, but here, filmed in the wee small hours, is a short film of a fox and an otter and their little tour of Lincoln together.\u201d<\/p>\n After several minutes chasing each other, the otter leaps into the river while the fox sits down and watches from the riverbank. Social media users expressed their delight at the heart-warming scenes.<\/p>\n One user said: \u201cNot many city centres would have this level of wildlife living within its environs. It\u2019s an amazing sighting.\u201d<\/p>\n Another said: \u201cReal-life Disney comes to Lincoln.
