{"id":586833,"date":"2025-11-22T13:17:31","date_gmt":"2025-11-22T13:17:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/586833\/"},"modified":"2025-11-22T13:17:31","modified_gmt":"2025-11-22T13:17:31","slug":"hot-milk-kick-off-tour-bringing-chaos-to-swg3-glasgow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/586833\/","title":{"rendered":"HOT MILK KICK OFF TOUR BRINGING CHAOS TO SWG3 GLASGOW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u2b50\u2b50\u2b50\u2b50\u2b50<\/p>\n<p>Rating: 5 out of 5.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LIVE REVIEW | HOT MILK w\/ Cassyette and Silly Goose | SWG3 GLASGOW | 17th November 2025 by Amanda MacEachen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hot Milk<\/strong> kicked off their 2025 UK and Europe tour\u00a0on 17th\u00a0November 2025, and where better to start a tour than <strong>Glasgow<\/strong>.\u00a0Their set was nothing short of explosive and chaotic, which was not surprising given their high energy emo fuelled tracks. Duo <strong>Han Mee<\/strong> and <strong>Jim Shaw<\/strong> hit the throttle for the first night, bringing nothing but continuous rock\u00a0tunes and\u00a0urgency for mosh pits.\u00a0The set was a testimony to their\u00a0varied discography, managing to plough through 20 songs without losing an ounce of energy (incredibly impressive). Their fiery performance set a formidable standard for the rest of their tour run, of which I\u2019m sure they will live up to every night.<\/p>\n<p>Silly Goose<\/p>\n<p>First up on the lineup were\u00a0Atlanta band\u00a0<strong>Silly Goose<\/strong>,\u00a0boldly\u00a0describing\u00a0themselves as a \u201cRap Rock Nu-Metal Hip Hop Fiesta Extravaganza\u201d.\u00a0It was their first gig outside of the US and they brought everything they could to\u00a0bring the noise and\u00a0vamp\u00a0the crowd into motion. Frontman <strong>Jackson Foster<\/strong> performed with an infectiously goofy energy, resonating with their name and managing to have the crowd bouncing up and down despite starting not long after doors. The\u00a0entire set\u00a0was chaos fused, songs such as\u00a0\u2018<strong>Traffic<\/strong>\u2019 and \u2018<strong>Neighbors<\/strong>\u2019\u00a0from the new album\u00a0continued to ignite higher energy levels. the band closed off with hit \u2018<strong>Bad Behaviour<\/strong>\u2018 which luckily formed a larger and wilder crowd with audience members still arriving. <strong>Silly Goose<\/strong> created an experience that primed the early eager crowd and set the tone for an evening of dance, mosh pits and rock and roll.<\/p>\n<p>Cassyette<\/p>\n<p>Next up was\u00a0English singer\u00a0<strong>Cassyette<\/strong>, the atmosphere\u00a0suddenly\u00a0switched from nu metal to\u00a0nu gen, bringing a mix of metal, punk, and pop.\u00a0From her dynamic discography,\u00a0Cassyette\u00a0powered through tracks from her latest album release <strong>This World F*cking Sucks<\/strong> as well as earlier EP\u2019s.\u00a0Glasgow got the luck of a live debut of unreleased track \u201c<strong>Oops<\/strong>\u201d,\u00a0giving the crowd a taster of\u00a0new music\u00a0to come\u00a0and showing that\u00a0she\u2019s\u00a0already working on the new chapter. Riveting track \u201c<strong>Dear Goth<\/strong>\u201d finalised the setlist as screams poured out and the SWG3 erupted in praise\u00a0and roars.\u00a0As the last act before headliners Hot Milk,\u00a0<strong>Cassyette<\/strong> and her accompanying band\u00a0left the now packed crowd ready for a craze filled and rock\u00a0infused night.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Hot Milk<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hot Milk<\/strong> took to the stage a little after 9pm,\u00a0after\u00a0an\u00a0intriguing\u00a0intro tape\u00a0played\u00a0to dimmed lights\u00a0before they made their entrance. The house lights fully\u00a0dimmed\u00a0and the crowd was fully charged for their set thanks to the opening acts.\u00a0Right from the first song \u201c<strong>Hell Is On Its Way\u201d,<\/strong>\u00a0the crowd was pulled in to singing all\u00a0lyrics\u00a0and opening pits when asked.\u00a0The band leaned hard into tracks from their latest album <strong>Corporation P.O.P<\/strong>,\u00a0including standout tracks \u2018<strong>Swallow This<\/strong>\u2019 and \u2018<strong>The American Machine<\/strong>\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Vocalist\u00a0<strong>Han Mee<\/strong>\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0hold back from any crowd interaction or crazy antics, one of which was spraying the whole front row with water (which they all seemed excited with)\u00a0then continuing to pour some on herself while\u00a0singing the raging tune like it was nothing.\u00a0One thing that was effortless was the\u00a0on stage\u00a0chemistry between lead singers Han and Jim who take turns singing tracks, it\u2019s clear this isn\u2019t just a band but a united friendship that has been bonded since 2018.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow_swiper-wrapper swiper-wrapper\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow_slide swiper-slide\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow_image wp-image-31696\" data-id=\"31696\" data-aspect-ratio=\"640 \/ 427\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/HOTMILK3-1024x683.jpg\"  \/>HOT MILK (Amanda MacEachen\/Northern Exposure)<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow_slide swiper-slide\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow_image wp-image-31694\" data-id=\"31694\" data-aspect-ratio=\"640 \/ 427\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/HOTMILK13-1024x683.jpg\"  \/>HOT MILK (Amanda MacEachen\/Northern Exposure)<\/li>\n<li class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow_slide swiper-slide\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"704\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow_image wp-image-31695\" data-id=\"31695\" data-aspect-ratio=\"640 \/ 440\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/HOTMILK10-1024x704.jpg\"  \/>HOT MILK (Amanda MacEachen\/Northern Exposure)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow_button-prev swiper-button-prev swiper-button-white\" role=\"button\"\/><a class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow_button-next swiper-button-next swiper-button-white\" role=\"button\"\/><a aria-label=\"Pause Slideshow\" class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow_button-pause\" role=\"button\"\/><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s\u00a0sometimes rare these days to find a gig with constant mosh pits, but <strong>Hot Milk<\/strong>\u00a0definitely\u00a0defied\u00a0this with bodies crushing against each other to every song and pits\u00a0opening up\u00a0before every beat drop.\u00a0\u201c<strong>Candy Coated Lie$<\/strong>\u201d set an atmospheric shock to the crowd\u00a0with its new rendition as explained by Han, the crowd\u00a0seemed to love\u00a0the new twist to the track and bounced along and sang anyway.\u00a0Despite the chaos,\u00a0Hot Milk\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0shy away from stripping things back and doing an acoustic of\u00a0\u201c<strong>Breathing\u00a0Underwater<\/strong>\u201d,\u00a0which was a surprising but a well needed\u00a0contrast and break from the noise,\u00a0but of course straight after they were right back into energised tracks.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After 17 songs the band walked offstage to be greeted by roaring screams and chants for an encore, of\u00a0which\u00a0they accepted and returned to play 3 more songs.\u00a0They ended their set with newer song \u201c<strong>Chase the Dragon<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0and everyone finally halted the moshing as the gig\u00a0came to a close.\u00a0On their opening show, <strong>Hot Milk<\/strong> proved why they are a\u00a0must see\u00a0band in the live scene.
