A Kent woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man was shot near a shopping centre in the Midlands.<\/p>\n
Kirstie Gavin, 32, from Gillingham, is among five suspects being held in custody following the shooting in the Sutton Coldfield area, near Birmingham.<\/p>\n

The incident is said to have taken place near the Lanes Shopping Centre in Wylde Green at around 7.30am on October 24.<\/p>\n
The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with injuries which are not life-threatening.<\/p>\n
West Midlands police launched an investigation and has since arrested and charged five people.<\/p>\n
Gavin, of James Street, Gillingham, was was charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to murder.<\/p>\n
Adrian Hylton, 43, of Godstone Road, St. Margarets, London was was also charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to murder, as well as robbery and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.<\/p>\n
West Midlands Police have charged five people, including a woman from Medway, after a shooting at a shopping centre in the Birmingham area<\/p>\n
Dwaine Patterson, 46, of Wharfside Street, Birmingham, was charged with conspiracy to murder.<\/p>\n
Terrence Regis, 43, of Erith Road, Belvedere, London, was charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to murder, robbery, and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.<\/p>\n
And Carly Smith, 36, of no fixed address, was charged with conspiracy to murder.<\/p>\n
They appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court and were remanded in custody ahead of a Birmingham Crown Court hearing next month.<\/p>\n
