Merseyside Police received a report of a crash involving one car on Bedford Street South in The Georgian Quarter at around 5.30pm this evening (November 22).<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Pictures taken <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/car-collision\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">from the scene <\/a>at 6.45pm show a <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/collisions\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">car trapped<\/a> in a gap at the front of a <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/georgian-quarter\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Georgian house<\/a> which leads to the basement. Police had closed the road off between Canning Street and Sir Howard Street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">A force incident manager for <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/merseyside-police\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Merseyside Police<\/a> told the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">ECHO<\/a> it was that <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">one vehicle<\/a> was involved, which had &#8220;ended up in quite a precarious position&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Traffic officers were at the scene to manage the road closure.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/0_ash-on-Bedford-Street-South-Liverpool-November-22-2025-pic-2.jpg\" alt=\"Bedford Street South was closed off\" loading=\"lazy\"  \/>Bedford Street South was closed off(Image: Liverpool Echo)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">No injuries have been reported.
