It’s been a rainbow of emotions from President Donald Trump’s<\/a> White House during the pre-Thanksgiving week.<\/p>\n

Trump has praised democratic socialist New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani, poked fun at one-time ally Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/a> and prodded Republicans in Congress to reverse course<\/a> on the Jeffrey Epstein files.<\/p>\n

And Trump, known for his black and blue suits paired with bright-colored ties, is again embracing color. He emerged from the White House on Nov. 22, wrapped in a shawl-like burgundy scarf and long black wool coat.<\/p>\n

Left-leaning journalist Aaron Rupar wrote “quite a look for Trump today” on X<\/a>, formerly Twitter, seemingly taking notice of Trump’s changing outfit choice. Trump was traveling to join golf icon Jack Nicklaus<\/a> at Andrews Air Force Base about 40 minutes outside of Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

Marjorie Taylor Greene resigns from <\/strong>Congress to live full life<\/a><\/p>\n

He\u00a0told a pool of reporters that Nicklaus \u2013 owner of Nicklaus Design, an internationally regarded golf course design and construction company \u2013 plans to rebuild two golf courses and additional recreational facilities located on the base. An owner of 12 golf courses inside the U.S., Trump said the government-operated courses were “in very bad shape.”<\/p>\n

He also took time to swing again at departing Georgia congresswoman Greene, the day after her Nov. 21 nighttime resignation announcement<\/a>. “I just disagreed with her philosophy,” Trump told the press.<\/p>\n

“She started backing perhaps the worst Republican congressman in our history, you know the stupid person named Massie,” Trump added on the South Lawn<\/a>. “I said go your own way and once I left her, she resigned because she never would’ve survived a primary, but I think she’s a nice person.”<\/p>\n

Greene will exit the House of Representatives on Jan. 5 next year. “I’m going back to the people I love, to live life to the fullest as I always have,” she said on social media. Earlier that day, Trump faced widespread online discourse following his embrace of New York mayor-elect Mamdani during an Oval Office meeting Nov. 21.<\/p>\n

Trump once called for Mamdani to be arrested<\/a>\u00a0if he didn’t help with the administration’s sweeping immigration crackdown and argued against giving\u00a0federal money to New York<\/a>\u00a0over Mamdani’s far-left politics.\u00a0For his part, Mamdani previously called Trump a fascist and said he’s ready to<\/a> take on the president over his immigration policies in an election night victory speech earlier this month.<\/p>\n

The pair’s first meeting was originally presumed to be contentious but left Trump content. “I expect to be helping him, not hurting him \u2013 a big help,” Trump said, “because I want New York City to be great.”<\/p>\n

“He wants to see housing go up, see a lot of housing created, apartments built… People would be shocked, but I want to see the same thing,” the president said. A colorful change of heart on Trump’s table, and underneath his coat, less than a week before American families scarf down their Thanksgiving meals.<\/p>\n
