Daniel Farke and Leeds United will be hoping they make it to January in order to get some reinforcements for this team. The summer window did see investment, but so far this season there are glaring holes in the squad.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It has been reported that the young striker could seek a move from Real Madrid for playing time, with a list of Premier League clubs showing interest.<\/p>\n

A report from Leeds Live<\/a> has now confirmed that Madrid boss Xabi Alonso has blocked any potential January moves. It has been reported that Garcia could find more playing time in the second half of the season deputising for Kylian Mbappe as the fixture schedule intensifies. The combination of Xabi Alonso blocking a loan, and the potential of more minutes as the season goes on will definitely shut down any chance Leeds would have hoped to have in January.<\/p>\n

Leeds United suffer transfer blow<\/p>\n

Gonzalo Garcia would have been the perfect signing for Leeds United. The promising striker showed everyone what he was capable of in the Club World Cup during the summer. Garcia was prolific at youth level and has already shown signs in senior football too.<\/p>\n

It is no surprise that clubs in England have taken notice, a player like him is worth a lot in today\u2019s market. The striker was reportedly available for \u00a320 million in the summer, which would have been right in Leeds\u2019 price range. For whatever reason, he never made the move to West Yorkshire despite strong links. It\u2019s clear now he would have been a priceless addition. Farke will have to manage with this current crop of strikers till January comes around, but at present that seems too far away with Leeds sliding down the table and unable to find that ruthless efficiency in front of goal.<\/p>\n
