Leeds United are ready to offer \u00a320million to sign Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Garcia.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Whites sank into the relegation zone after West Ham\u2019s 2-2 draw to Bournemouth on Saturday, but can pull themselves back up in Leeds\u2019 clash against Aston Villa at Elland Road<\/a> on 23 November. <\/p>\n Still, their results have not been good enough, and Daniel Farke<\/a> is more than feeling the pressure at Leeds. <\/p>\n Garcia is seen as an option to alleviate the pressure, but it seems the Whites\u2019 saviour may be elsewhere, with an initial loan move ready. <\/p>\n Leeds have seen their plans to sign Garcia<\/a> halted by Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso<\/a>, according to The Mirror<\/a> on 22 November. <\/p>\n Farke is keen to freshen up his attack, and it is understood that Leeds were willing to sign Garcia on a six-month deal, with a view to making the move permanent in the summer for \u00a320million. <\/p>\n There is reason to believe that the striker was keen on a move to the Premier League, where several clubs have been circling. <\/p>\n Indeed, with superstar Kylian Mbappe in mighty fine form, Garcia has played just 96 minutes in La Liga, despite notching five goal contributions in the FIFA Club World Cup over the summer. <\/p>\n However, Garcia has been told that he cannot leave Madrid by former Liverpool ace Alonso.<\/p>\n It has been reported that Alonso has held talks with Garcia and told him that he\u2019s in his long-term and short-term plans.<\/p>\n This will come as a huge blow for Leeds, who were confident of securing Garcia this winter.
