Arsenal return from the November international break with a bang, as they take on rivals Tottenham<\/a> in the North London Derby<\/a> over the weekend. The Gunners have been handed an opportunity to take a further lead in the Premier League<\/a> title race, after slip-ups from Manchester City and Liverpool on Saturday.<\/p>\n That may be easier said than done for Mikel Arteta<\/a>, who will have to wrestle with the ferocity of the local derby, all while dealing with the injury issues within his squad. As many as eight players could be missing from the Arsenal<\/a> squad at the Emirates Stadium<\/a> on Sunday afternoon, posing some questions that the head coach must answer.<\/p>\n With a deeper squad at his disposal, there is an assumption that Arteta will find the right combination for his team, while some returns could be on the cards. So, with that said, football.london<\/strong> takes a look at the latest Arsenal injury news<\/a> and updates.<\/p>\n Viktor Gyokeres<\/p>\n Arsenal striker Viktor Gyokeres picked up a minor issue<\/a> that has kept him out of action for three weeks so far, which missing international games for Sweden. Despite that, there is still some doubt over whether the forward will be available for the clash on Sunday.<\/p>\n What Arteta has said:<\/strong> “We have put in a lot of energy to bring them [injured players] back as quick as possible. Tomorrow we will have more clarity. It’s another step on the road to recovery, with there being some hope that the star forward can feature in the coming weeks of a busy fixture schedule.<\/p>\n There is still some extra work to be done to condition the Brazilian in the right way to feature in the Premier League again, but there are promising signs over his return.<\/p>\n What Arteta has said<\/strong>: “Very good and he’s done everything with the team for the last two weeks.
