This is the moment a delivery driver on an e-bike casually rides down the M6 motorway near Birmingham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A large Royal Mail<\/a> lorry is forced to slow down before overtaking the bike as it glides down the slow lane.<\/p>\n

Mobile phone footage shows the driver with his hood up.<\/p>\n

Footage was posted Facebook just after 7pm on Friday, November 21.<\/p>\n

E-biker rides down the M6<\/p>\n

It is illegal for e-bikes to be used on motorways according to The Highway Code. They can be used on other roads as long as it meets specific requirements and their top speed can go no higher than 15.5mph.<\/p>\n

West Midlands Police<\/a> have been made aware of the incident.<\/p>\n

The 31-second clip attracted comments on social media.<\/p>\n

One said: “Brave but silly.” A different user said: “These guys are idiots.”<\/p>\n

Another posted: “No way. Must have his truck nav on.”<\/p>\n
