A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a horror collision in south Manchester. Police and paramedics raced to the scene of the incident in Moss Side<\/a> on Friday night (November 21).<\/p>\n It was reported that the driver of a Toyota Corolla had been turning right from Lowthorpe Street onto Lloyd Street South when a motorcyclist, on a Suzuki GSR 750, smashed into the side of the car.<\/p>\n The biker, a man aged 19, was unseated and suffered serious injuries in the incident. He was rushed to hospital from the scene and remains in a life-threatening condition, Greater Manchester Police<\/a> said.<\/p>\n Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are asking for anyone with information to come forward amid ongoing investigations into the crash. This includes anyone who saw the vehicle driving before the collision, witnessed the incident itself, or have dashcam footage of the incident.<\/p>\n A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for information following a collision at around 7:20pm on Friday 21 November on Lloyd Street in Moss Side.<\/p>\n “A driver of a Toyota Corolla was turning right from Lowthorpe Street onto Lloyd Street in Moss Side where a motorcyclist, driving a Suzuki GSR 750, has collided with the side of the vehicle.<\/p>\n “The motorcyclist, a male aged 19, was unseated and suffered serious injuries. He was taken to hospital and is in a life-threatening condition.”<\/p>\n
