href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/news\/15563175\/cops-seize-17k-of-drugs-at-glasgows-christmas-market\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">police recently swooped on St Enoch Square<\/a> as part of major drug raids across Glasgow.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/news\/15563175\/cops-seize-17k-of-drugs-at-glasgows-christmas-market\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">force seized more than \u00a317,000 worth of drugs<\/a> after descending on several areas in the city in a \u201crelentless\u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/christmas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0<\/a>crackdown last Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Officers from Greater Glasgow Division\u2019s Serious and Organised Crime Proactive Team, backed by local <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/cops\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cops<\/a> and specialist units, swooped on addresses in the Gorbals, Possilpark, Cambuslang and Maryhill.<\/p>\n<p>And they uncovered a stash of crack <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/cocaine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cocaine<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/heroin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heroin<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/cannabis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cannabis<\/a> worth up to \u00a317,270, along with \u00a35,450 in cash. <\/p>\n<p>Three men, aged 33, 23 and 21, were arrested during the raid on Wednesday and charged in connection with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/drugs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">drugs<\/a> offences and appeared at Glasgow Sheriff <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/topic\/courts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Court<\/a> on Thursday, 13 November.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\tDRUGS SEIZED\n\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-boxout__content__intro\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tWE joined officers on on a raid last week in Glasgow\u2019s Gorbals as other busts took place in the city\u2019s Maryhill and Possil, as well as in Cambuslang.\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>More than 20 officers hit the streets throughout the day \u2014 patrolling the city centre and Clydeside in a bid to choke off the supply of drugs feeding Glasgow\u2019s underworld.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Detective Inspector Tam Carey said:\u00a0\u201cToday\u2019s activity forms part of sustained, intelligence-led work to target those involved in the supply of drugs within the Glasgow city centre.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will use every tactic available to gather evidence, identify offenders and dismantle the networks that exploit vulnerable people and profit from harm.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDrug dealing and associated criminality have a devastating impact, and we will continue to take action to disrupt those responsible and bring them to justice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thescottishsun.co.uk\/who\/sting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sting<\/a> \u2013 dubbed
