Another blast of freezing weather is set to sweep across the South West next week as temperatures plummet.<\/p>\n

The UK has just endured its coldest autumn evening, with the mercury dropping to a brutal -12.6C across Scotland, according to The Mirror<\/a>, but even more cold weather<\/a> is heading our way.<\/p>\n

The South West is set to see lows of -2\u00b0C during the early hours of Wednesday morning (November 26).<\/p>\n

According to the Met Office, temperatures will plummet and Bristol will see temperatures drop to 1\u00b0C at midnight on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Gloucester, Bath<\/a>, and Yeovil will drop to 0\u00b0C the same night.<\/p>\n

Cirencester, Weston-super-Mare, Tiverton, and Totnes will also see lows of 1\u00b0C overnight.<\/p>\n

Taunton, Exeter, Launceston, Salcombe, and Plymouth will see drop to 2\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

Some rural areas may also drop below freezing, but the cold will be widespread across the region.<\/p>\n

WXCharts data also suggests freezing conditions, with Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset, and parts of Devon dropping to -2\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

There are no current forecasts or warnings for snow or ice, but as the week progresses this may be updated.<\/p>\n

As Wednesday progresses, temperatures are expected to increase to highs of 9\u00b0C, but there will be little relief from the chilly weather.<\/p>\n

Forecasters at the Met Office warn that from November 28 to December 7, unsettled conditions are expected across the UK.<\/p>\n

The ling-range weather forecast has warned of heavy rain, with some snow flurries across high ground.<\/p>\n

It added that short-spells of drier weather is possible, but temperatures will likely be close to the yearly average.<\/p>\n

South West weather forecast:<\/p>\n

Today: Blustery during Sunday evening with clear spells and occasional showers. Coastal gales developing overnight as longer spells of rain push through, potentially heavy with hail. Winds briefly dropping out in the east later. Feeling fresh but staying largely frost free. Minimum temperature 4 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n

Monday: A wet and windy start. Turning slightly drier in the east with brighter spells, but a continuous feed of showers across Cornwall. Feeling cold in the brisk northerly winds. Maximum temperature 11 \u00b0C.<\/p>\n

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday: Settled on Tuesday with plenty of sunshine and lighter winds, concluding with a frosty night.
