{"id":589830,"date":"2025-11-24T01:33:47","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T01:33:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/589830\/"},"modified":"2025-11-24T01:33:47","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T01:33:47","slug":"and-finally-girl-power-scottish-construction-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/589830\/","title":{"rendered":"And finally\u2026 girl power | Scottish Construction Now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>                <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/GRAHAM - ConstructHER Edinburgh Cohort.jpg\" alt=\"And finally... girl power\" class=\"w-100\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Four high school pupils have illuminated the city\u2019s skyline by officially switching on the Christmas lights adorning the crane above The Jenners Building, where GRAHAM is underway with construction works to sensitively restore one of the capital\u2019s most iconic landmarks.<\/p>\n<p>The pupils &#8211; Metis To, Rebecca Price, Julianne Herbert, and Lovely Loquias &#8211; are participants in GRAHAM\u2019s ConstructHER programme, a pioneering initiative designed to inspire more young women to explore careers in construction.<\/p>\n<p>Developed by GRAHAM in partnership with Developing the Young Workforce (DYW), the six-month programme will see participants spend one morning each week on-site at The Jenners Building.
