expands Edinburgh team with 15 hires"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Edinburgh-based chartered accountancy and business advisory firm Saffery has strengthened its corporate tax, audit and accounting divisions with 15 new appointments.<\/p>\n<p>In the corporate tax team, Louise Anderson joins as senior manager, alongside manager Aimee O\u2019Hara-Wilson and tax assistant Sophie Murray.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Louise, who has spent more than 25 years working in Edinburgh at both a \u2018big four\u2019 firm and at an independent accountancy practice, as well as within an in-house accounts team, said: \u201cMoving to Saffery is an opportunity to join one of Edinburgh\u2019s best-known and most respected accountancy firms.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe variety of the work also really appealed, with the firm working for businesses and organisations of all shapes and sizes, and across all industries, so I\u2019m really looking forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The audit division welcomes senior associates George Dickson and Oliver Kelly, associate Max Venditti and audit assistants Nathan Stringer, Lewis Murdoch, Ollie Stevens and Freddie Lambert.<\/p>\n<p>Saffery has also added three new accounts assistants \u2013 Pearce Hopkins, Lilian Morrison and Oliver Magowan \u2013 with Clare McCulloch joining as executive assistant and Sophie O\u2019Driscoll as business support assistant.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Three interns are also completing placements within the team.<\/p>\n<p>The firm, one of the UK\u2019s longest-standing independent accountancy practices, now employs more than 75 people in its Edinburgh office following its recent relocation to Haymarket\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Sean McGinness, partner and head of Saffery\u2019s Edinburgh
