Man Utd play Everton in the Premier League on Monday and here’s how our writers think they should line up.United play Everton on Monday night.<\/p>\n

Manchester United will welcome Everton to Old Trafford on Monday night with the hope of pushing closer towards the European spots. After an awful start to the season, Ruben Amorim has overseen an impressive turnaround, and he picked up the manager of the month award for October after three wins on the bounce.<\/p>\n

United<\/a> began November by drawing against Nottingham Forest and Tottenham<\/a>. The Reds salvaged a point against Spurs before the international break thanks to a headed added-time goal from Matthijs de Ligt<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Everton<\/a> have made an indifferent start to the campaign and are struggling to score goals, but they secured a 2-0 victory against Fulham at the Hill Dickinson Stadium before the international break. They have only won once away from home all season – at Wolverhampton Wanderers.<\/p>\n

Regarding the team news, Benjamin Sesko<\/a> has been ruled out with a knee injury and Harry Maguire<\/a> appeared to be ruled out after missing training on Friday. Kobbie Mainoo<\/a> was expected to take part in training on Saturday after missing the session the day before.<\/p>\n

Here’s how our writers think United should line up…<\/p>\n

The biggest team news headline was the update on Sesko, who picked up a knee injury against Tottenham last weekend. Sesko started on the bench against Spurs, which means Amorim can pick the same attack if he likes, but it makes sense to drop Amad to right wing-back and play Mount.<\/p>\n

Amad looked better when he was moved to that role at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Mount created two chances when he came on from the bench in the second half.<\/p>\n

Dorgu was recalled to the starting team in London and scored for Denmark during the break. There isn’t much between Dalot and Dorgu because they’ve both been unconvincing, but I’d give the latter the nod.<\/p>\n

Doubts surrounding the fitness of Matheus Cunha will have raised alarm bells for United heading into this one. The Reds still have a few options in attack and could choose not to risk the Brazilian.<\/p>\n

Playing Bryan Mbeumo as the false nine will be a new role for him at Old Trafford but it is a position he has played before. This would allow Amad and Mount to play behind him and not risk the Brazilian.<\/p>\n

Playing Dorgu at left wing-back seems the most likely choice. Dalot is not comfortable on the left and the Dane’s performance during the international break was good.<\/p>\n
