\n The cheque presentation followed an ABBA-themed \u2018Mamma Mia\u2019 event at Musselburgh Rugby Club earlier this month, when a \u201cgood night was had by all\u201d.\n<\/p>\n
\n From the transformation of the hall into a Greek taverna, the food, costumes, production and professional compering by Colin Taylor and Fiona Grant, the event was described as \u201ca spectacular experience.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
\n It was stressed that the night would not have been possible without the efforts of the rest of the team, including Irene Grant, Janice Taylor, Lindsay Ritchie, Anne Fenton, Jackie Hunter, Noreen Smith, Sandie Wilson, MaryJane Musleh, William Fenton, Aaron Ritchie, George Ritchie, Dianne Blythe, Babs Waugh and all at Musselburgh Rugby Club\n<\/p>\n
\n John McNally, chairman of the Hollies, and manager Debbie Chalmers were delighted to welcome Margaret Cavers and friends to the High Street hub recently when the bumper cheque was presented.\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cEveryone from The Hollies will be forever grateful for this continued support,\u201d said Mr McNally.\n<\/p>\n
\n A warm welcome will also be on offer at the Hollies Christmas Fair on Saturday, 10am-3pm, where local businesses will be showcasing their products.\n<\/p>\n
\n Members of the public are invited to pop in for a cuppa and a chat, and Santa will be making an appearance.\n<\/p>\n
