{"id":591507,"date":"2025-11-24T21:14:19","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T21:14:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/591507\/"},"modified":"2025-11-24T21:14:19","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T21:14:19","slug":"nintendo-has-scheduled-maintenance-for-3ds-later-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/591507\/","title":{"rendered":"Nintendo Has Scheduled Maintenance For 3DS Later Today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"scanlines\" title=\"Nintendo 2DS XL\" href=\"https:\/\/images.nintendolife.com\/6f08c2bca2658\/nintendo-2ds-xl.large.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/nintendo-2ds-xl.900x.jpg\" width=\"900\" height=\"506\" alt=\"Nintendo 2DS XL\"\/><\/a> Image: Zion Grassl \/ Nintendo Life<\/p>\n<p>Nintendo&#8217;s <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendo.co.jp\/netinfo\/en_US\/index.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">weekly maintenance schedule<\/a> has been released, and weirdly, the only console getting any love this week is the Nintendo 3DS.<\/p>\n<p>Reported on by <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/nintendoeverything.com\/nintendo-maintenance-schedule-november-23-2025\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nintendo Everything<\/a>, the Nintendo 3DS&#8217;s available network services will be down between <strong>3pm PST to 4:30pm PST today, 24th November 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, that might sound a little confusing given that online servers for the 3DS and Wii U <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nintendolife.com\/news\/2024\/04\/its-over-nintendo-shuts-down-online-servers-for-3ds-and-wii-u\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">shut down over a year ago<\/a>. But many people still play their 3DS&#8217;s, and you can redownload games off of the eShop on the system.<\/p>\n<p>So any maintenance that takes place today is likely just to iron out a few kinks Nintendo discovered. Probably not, as <a class=\"external\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/3dspiracy\/comments\/1p55v9v\/3ds_maintenance_tomorrow_should_we_worry\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">evidenced on Reddit<\/a>. Nintendo isn&#8217;t going to just pull the plug without saying anything. Plus, the Big N performed maintenance on Nintendo Network ID as recently as October. The company is always doing something with older software.<\/p>\n<p>Essentially, this is business as usual. You probably just won&#8217;t be able to download 3DS games for a couple of hours.<\/p>\n<p>Are you still using your 3DS?
