A Liverpool deal looks more and more likely as offers are readied for one star. This one could move quickly.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Liverpool will look to make moves in the January transfer window in an attempt to turn their season around. They don’t really have any other choice given their form.<\/p>\n

The Reds have been woeful, losing six out of their last seven Premier League games. Even worse, their performances actually appear to be regressing – their 3-0 defeat at home to Nottingham Forest was the low point of the season so far.<\/p>\n

Thus change is needed. The worst-case scenario for that change is moving on from Arne Slot but it’s too early to jump on that bandwagon just yet.<\/p>\n

Instead, Liverpool will go into January and try to rejig things after their summer mass overhaul. That means players both coming and going.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Liverpool to make moves<\/p>\n

One player who could well move on is Federico Chiesa<\/a>. The Italian has never fit in under Slot, with limited minutes over the last near-18 months.<\/p>\n

That’s despite some very, very promising performances, too. But Slot just doesn’t appear to fancy Chiesa and that’s a massive problem in what’s a World Cup year.<\/p>\n

TuttoJuve <\/a>report that there’s now a lot of interest in Chiesa from Italy as clubs look to take advantage of the situation. AS Roma, Inter and AC Milan are all hopeful of signing him.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Though, that depends on Chiesa’s actual plans. It’s assumed that he’ll jump to a new club if there’s truly no chance of breaking in at Liverpool, but it’s pretty clear that he will take every opportunity he can at Anfield.<\/p>\n

The interest from Serie A clubs was very much there in the summer, after all, but Chiesa rejected chances to leave. He may well decide to do the same in January if he’s unwilling to give up on his dream just yet.<\/p>\n

But this is unquestionably one to watch. Liverpool will look to reshape and try new things – though, that could always mean actually playing Chiesa.<\/p>\n

If not, there are three clubs in Italy who are, according to the report, ready with offers.<\/p>\n
