Noel<\/a> and Liam Gallagher<\/a> shared a hug during the last show of the Oasis reunion tour<\/a> in Brazil last night (November 23) \u2013 watch the moment, and check out some more photos from S\u00e3o Paulo, below.<\/p>\n

After Liam handed Noel his tambourine and maracas, the brothers went in for an embrace to cheers from the crowd. It came during their second night at MorumBIS in S\u00e3o Paulo, the final night of their massive 41-date \u2018Live \u201825\u2019 reunion tour, which came over 15 years after Oasis<\/a> last performed together.<\/p>\n

The pair\u2019s long-running feud caused the band\u2019s breakup in 2009, Noel deciding to quit the band following an \u201caltercation\u201d hours before they were supposed to headline Rock en Seine festival in Paris.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight,\u201d Noel wrote at the time. \u201cPeople will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the years since, both brothers embarked on solo careers while occasionally making jabs at each other in the press \u2013\u00a0Liam calling Noel a \u201cTory boy\u201d and a \u201ccorporate gobshite\u201d in 2017<\/a> and Noel calling him a \u201cfat man in an anorak\u201d two years later<\/a>, among other comments.<\/p>\n

In August last year, however, they appeared to have buried the hatchet by announcing their reunion tour<\/a>, stating: \u201cThe guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite reports that the brothers would be separated from each other backstage<\/a>, they\u2019ve regularly been hugging and laughing together during shows with Noel saying in August that he was enjoying being back in Oasis with his brother<\/a>. \u201cI guess when it\u2019s all set and done, I\u2019ll sit and reflect on it, but it\u2019s great being back in a band with Liam,\u201d he told Talksport<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019d forgotten how funny he was.\u201d<\/p>\n

And rhythm guitarist Paul \u201cBonehead\u201d Arthurs<\/a>, who joined back up with Oasis for their South American dates<\/a> after taking a break from their tour to continue his cancer treatment, reflected on 2025 as \u201cthe best year of my life\u201d on Instagram this morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He was given the all-clear from tonsil cancer back in 2022<\/a>, but shared at the start of October that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year, and would sit out of Oasis\u2019 Asia and Australia shows<\/a> so he could have \u201cthe next phase of care\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

During those shows, the band performed with an honorary cut-out of Bonehead<\/a>. In his absence, Mike Moore from Liam\u2019s solo band filled in<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In July, Noel revealed that Bonehead was the one responsible for the Oasis reunion tour<\/a>. He said on stage during their second show in Cardiff, when introducing the rest of the band between songs, \u201cOn guitar, if it wasn\u2019t for him, none of this would have happened.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bassist Andy Bell also posted on Instagram today, simply writing \u201cTHANK YOU ALL\u201d alongside a heart emoji. Back in March, NME revealed that Bonehead and Bell would be part of the Oasis reunion<\/a>, alongside Gem Archer and Joey Waronker.<\/p>\n

Ana\u00efs Gallagher, Noel\u2019s daughter, also shared her thoughts. She wrote on Instagram that she\u2019d had the \u201cgreatest year of my life, spent with the greatest people, soundtracked by the greatest band,\u201d<\/a> and added: \u201cWhat was once thought impossible became possible.\u201d<\/p>\n

The tour started in Cardiff on July 4<\/a>, Noel and Liam walking on stage hand in hand, and has taken in seven dates at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium, six at Heaton Park in Manchester, two in Ireland, five in the US, five across Australia and two in Japan, among others.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The entire tour has seen the band perform the same setlist across all 41 dates<\/a>, kicking off with \u2018Hello\u2019, before diving into \u2018Acquiesce\u2019 followed by \u2018Morning Glory\u2019 and more.<\/p>\n

Other constants on the setlist have been \u2018Cigarettes & Alcohol\u2019, \u2018Fade Away\u2019, \u2018Supersonic\u2019, \u2018Roll With It\u2019, \u2018Half The World Away\u2019, \u2018Slide Away\u2019, \u2018Live Forever\u2019, \u2018Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll Star\u2019, \u2018Wonderwall\u2019 and \u2018Champagne Supernova\u2019.<\/p>\n

NME gave Oasis\u2019 first gig back five stars<\/a>, the review reading: \u201cAfter a \u201890s heyday and an often maligned post-millennium era, this is Oasis redesigned for the 21st Century. Playing before a pop-art-meets-psychedelia visual spectacular that never distracts but will look sick on a phone, they seem the quintessential stadium band playing the greatest hits of greatest hits.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Liam implied that more Oasis shows could be on the way next year<\/a>, but he later clarified on X (Twitter)<\/a>: \u201cYou will see me next year and the year after and so on just not sure yet if it\u2019ll be with Oasis we need to sit down and discuss these things if it was all up to me then you know we\u2019d be touring till the day we die as it\u2019s the best thing in the world but UNFORTUNATELY it\u2019s not.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

There have also been rumours of more Knebworth shows, with next year marking 30 years since Oasis\u2019 iconic gigs at the Hertfordshire stately home.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A British peer in the House of Lords seemed to accidentally reveal that Oasis would play Knebworth next summer<\/a> last month before backtracking. On October 22, Lady Taylor of Stevenage claimed that the band would play five back-to-back anniversary gigs at Knebworth House next year.<\/p>\n

She then told The Guardian<\/a>, \u201cI was speaking hypothetically following speculation that they would play Knebworth again as they did in August 1996. I understand the band have not confirmed this.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Rumours about new material from Oasis emerged last year, when Liam took to X to tell fans that a new album from the Manchester icons was \u201calready finished\u201d<\/a>. He then posted on social media again to fan the flames, claiming that he had listened to the material Noel had written for the record and was \u201cblown away\u201d by it.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, he very soon went back on his comments and said on X that there was \u201cno Oasis album in the making\u201d<\/a>. When a fan account messaged him and questioned why he made the previous statements, he said he \u201cwas fucking joking\u201d and did it for \u201ca laugh\u201d.<\/p>\n
