At around 4.50pm<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/merseyside-police\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> Merseyside Police<\/a> were called to the scene of a crash at the junction of Cherry Lane\/Walton Lane involving two Toyota cars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">The driver of one of the vehicles, a woman, was taken to hospital by a<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/merseyside-police\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> police<\/a> officer. A spokesperson for<a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/merseyside-police\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\"> Merseyside Police<\/a> said there is no further details of injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh \" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\" publication=\"liverpoolecho\">Pictures of the collision, shared with the <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">ECHO<\/a>, show damage to both cars.
