{"id":592710,"date":"2025-11-25T11:29:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-25T11:29:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/592710\/"},"modified":"2025-11-25T11:29:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-25T11:29:11","slug":"stunning-drone-footage-emerges-as-celtic-park-makeover-enters-its-final-stages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/592710\/","title":{"rendered":"Stunning drone footage emerges as Celtic Park makeover enters its final stages"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>The outside fascia of Celtic Park refurbishment is nearing completion as drone footage shows just how good the stadium is starting to look.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.67hailhail.com\/news\/celtic-confirm-storm-eowyn-stadium-damage-with-dundee-clash-now-in-doubt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Storm Eowyn caused damage to Celtic Park<\/a> in a freak weather storm that took place way back in January of this year.<\/p>\n<p>The banners that wrapped around the outside of the stadium were ripped off as the storm took grip and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.67hailhail.com\/club\/stadium\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Celtic Park<\/a> has lain bare ever since.<\/p>\n<p>But now, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.67hailhail.com\/news\/photos-emerge-of-impressive-celtic-park-facelift-coming-along-nicely\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">photos of Celtic\u2019s stadium facelift emerged<\/a> just under two weeks ago, drone footage has now given fans an even better look at how the developing upgrade is coming along.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/GettyImages-2225963514-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"A general view during the pre-season friendly match between Celtic and Newcastle United at Celtic Park\" class=\"wp-image-308163\" \/>Photo by Harriet Massey\/Newcastle United via Getty ImagesNew Celtic Park banners are looking superb<\/p>\n<p>The footage has emerged on X as popular Celtic account Hoidy shared how the new Parkhead uplift is coming along.<\/p>\n<p>Have a watch of this footage of the Jock Stein Stand:<\/p>\n<p>It appears that the refurbishment is now half complete as the rest of the stadium awaits the new banner look.<\/p>\n<p>Other basic improvements Celtic must make to the stadium<\/p>\n<p>There is still plenty of work needing to be done on the inside and outside of the stadium to raise its profile and standards.<\/p>\n<p>The metal beams could do with some paint as they are looking tired and dated.
