Jack McGregor, 28, was previously convicted at Crewe Magistrates\u2019 Court. McGregor, of Westover Road, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/maghull\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Maghull<\/a>, was arrested and taken to a police station and charged with assault. He pleaded not guilty at Chester Magistrates\u2019 Court on February 24 this year. Back in 2022, <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/liverpool-council\" target=\"\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">Liverpool Council<\/a> agreed to adopt a public space protection order (PSPO) tightening its controls over dog fouling and inappropriate behaviour in certain locations throughout the city. The <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/news\/liverpool-news\/instant-fines-dog-owners-who-24401988\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">three-year order<\/a> prevents dogs being off-lead in eight city cemeteries and present at more than 70 playgrounds and sports pitches. The University and College Union (UCU) has announced that staff 32 colleges across England have approved walk-outs over pay and working conditions. An overwhelming 90% of <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/education\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">staff<\/a> who voted in the further education college ballot said they would back <a class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/all-about\/strikes\" target=\"_self\" aria-label=\"\" tabindex=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">strike action<\/a>.
