On December 4, 2025<\/strong>, at 4:00 p.m. ET, <\/strong>the Atlantic Council\u2019s Adrienne Arsht Latin America Center will host leading voices on the US\u2013Mexico relationship to discuss how both countries can advance regional competitiveness and shared priorities through the USMCA.<\/p>\n

As the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) approaches its first official review in July\u00a02026\u00a0and the three countries prepare to co-host the\u00a0FIFA World Cup, all eyes are on North America.\u00a0With the\u00a0US trade representative hearing\u00a0on the USMCA review underway, any\u00a0decisions\u00a0taken\u00a0during this review\u00a0will reshape the rules of the game for\u00a0competitiveness, investment, and jobs\u00a0for the three countries.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Building\u00a0on our US-Mexico\u00a0economic security and competitiveness\u00a0work, this event will explore how the two countries can find common ground\u00a0to reduce\u00a0dependency on extra-regional actors, while seizing opportunities to strengthen the North American partnership for the USMCA.\u00a0<\/p>\n

After the\u00a0event, join us for a special\u00a0soccer-themed\u00a0reception\u00a0in\u00a0the Adrienne Arsht Sky Lobby\u00a0in advance of the following day\u2019s World Cup\u00a0draw.\u00a0<\/p>\n

New policy:<\/strong>\u00a0In-person attendees will\u00a0be required\u00a0to show photo ID upon arrival, and no on-site registration will be\u00a0permitted. Guests will not be admitted later than twenty minutes after the event\u2019s start time. Registration for this event will close at 5:00 p.m. ET the day prior.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
