Each
property, with just 9-35 guestrooms each, spans recent openings like Eunice Hotel
Gastronomico in Salamanca to celebrated pioneers such as Atrio in Ca ceres and Molino de Alcuneza in Castilla La Mancha, which will mark their 40th and 30th anniversaries in 2026.

Each property is selected on an invitation-only basis and chosen for its ability to preserve and interpret the cultural, architectural, and culinary identity of its region. While distinct in design and experience, all hotels in the collection share a commitment to small-scale, meaningful tourism over mass-market appeal.

Spanning the rugged culinary heartlands of northern Spain, the little-explored medieval
towns of the central regions, the timeless patios of Andalucí a, and the Balearic elegance
of Ibiza, the collection opens doors to experiences that remain largely hidden to international travellers.

“Spain has countless family-owned hotels that are truly extraordinary,” says Rafael Perez Navazo, CEO and founder of the collection. “We created The Authentic Heritage Collection to spotlight the independent projects that embody our country’s culture, history and gastronomy. Our aim is to provide travellers with a trusted way to discover the Spain that Spaniards know best.”

The collection currently features 14 exceptional hotels across Spain:
Northern Spain:

Palacio Helguera Boutique & Antique (Cantabria)
Palacio de Samaniego (La Rioja)

Central Spain:

La Casa del Presidente (A vila)
Monasterio de San Pelayo (Palencia)
Eunice Hotel Gastrono mico (Salamanca)
Molino de Alcuneza (Sigu enza)
Atrio Hotel & Restaurante (Ca ceres)
Palacio Paredes Saavedra (Ca ceres)

Andalucia:

La Malvasí a (El Rocí o)
Casa Palacio Don Ramo n (Seville)
Casa Palacio Marí a Luisa (Jerez)

Mediterranean:

Palacio Vallier and Marque s House (Valencia)
La Torre del Cano nigo (Ibiza)

 Post navigation

A new collection of independent hotels and private residences unveils hidden corners of Spain to international travellers…

[5312
2000,299,104
0":"post-594636","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-spain","8":"tag-eu","9":"tag-europe","10":"tag-spain
["GET
