Craig Burley says a \u2018much better version\u2019 of the Chelsea<\/a> team that beat Barcelona<\/a> will be needed as the Blues prepare to face \u2018different ball game\u2019 Arsenal<\/a> this weekend.<\/p>\n

Chelsea clinched an impressive 3-0 win over Spanish champions Barcelona in the Champions League<\/a> to boost their hopes of automatic qualification to the knockout stages.<\/p>\n

Jules Kounde<\/a>\u2019s own goal saw Chelsea take the lead and Barcelona\u2019s task got even steeper when captain Ronald Araujo was sent off for a second yellow card just before half time.<\/p>\n

Estevao Willian continued his stunning rise<\/a> with Chelsea\u2019s second before summer signing Liam Delap<\/a> added a third.<\/p>\n

The victory sends Chelsea up to fifth in the Champions League group phase \u2013 the top-eight qualify automatically for the knockout stages \u2013 while last season\u2019s semi-finalists Barca slip to 15th.<\/p>\n

Burley was impressed by Chelsea\u2019s performance against Barcelona but says they will still need to \u2018up their game\u2019 to compete with Arsenal this weekend.<\/p>\n

\u2018Believe it or not\u00a0but a much better version of Chelsea will need to turn up,\u2019 ex-Blues midfielder Burley told ESPN<\/a>. \u2018They will have to up their game from what we saw tonight to face Arsenal.<\/p>\n

\u2018Arsenal\u00a0are\u00a0not going to play like Barcelona did tonight.\u00a0In some sense\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0the\u00a0acid test\u00a0for Chelsea rather than the Barcelona game.<\/p>\n

\u2018We\u2019ve\u00a0seen enough of Barca this season \u2013\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0been there week in week out to see, the poorest teams in La Liga have all had chances against them.<\/p>\n

\u2018So\u00a0Chelsea beating\u00a0them\u00a0is not a\u00a0surprise \u2013\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0a great win but\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0not a surprise if you watch La Liga\u00a0regularly.<\/p>\n

\u2018If they do something\u00a0similar to\u00a0Arsenal\u00a0then\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0a huge statement because Arsenal are clear favourites to go on and win this Premier League.<\/p>\n

\u2018The statement for Chelsea\u00a0has to\u00a0be the weekend because Arsenal\u00a0are\u00a0a different ball game.\u2019<\/p>\n

Another former Chelsea player, Mario Melchiot, believes Enzo Maresca\u2019s side are capable of \u2018grabbing\u2019 Arsenal, the short favourites to win the Premier League.<\/p>\n

\u2018Chelsea had a\u00a0really good\u00a0game regardless of their one-man advantage,\u2019 he said. \u2018But\u00a0you\u2019ve\u00a0got to do it again at the weekend,\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0the key thing.<\/p>\n

\u2018That\u2019s\u00a0going to be a tough one. Do I think\u00a0it\u2019s\u00a0possible?\u00a0Yeah,\u00a0they\u2019re\u00a0at home and they feel comfortable at home.<\/p>\n

\u2018But Arsenal\u00a0at the moment\u00a0are\u00a0really strong\u00a0\u2013 we will see how they fare against Bayern Munich but I still route for Chelsea and think they can grab them because\u00a0they\u2019re\u00a0in\u00a0a very good\u00a0mood\u00a0at the moment.<\/p>\n
